In the fall of 2024, AXENÉO7 presents a programming focused on collaboration.

While collaboration is, and always will be, at the heart of the centre's activities, it takes on a special role this season, working with long-standing local partners. This programming emphasizes encounters between artists, audiences and disciplines within the framework of unifying events and projects, many of which are part of the Radio-Hull festival, an initiative of our neighbors and friends at the Centre de production DAÏMÔN. For the centre, the many collaborations that make up this programming embody a desire to work together, to strengthen the ties that unite us. It's a call to listen, to exchange, and above all, to be powerful together. This season, every project and every interaction will be an opportunity to meet around new and exceptional proposals, to which will be added, in the course of the months, other initiatives, activities and projects aimed to collaborate with you.

AXENÉO7 is pleased to kick off its fall programming with Se limiter au maximum, an exhibition by the collective of Simon Brown, Pavel Pavlov, Marc A. Reinhardt and Maude Veilleux, presented in the centre's three exhibition rooms from September 13 to October 19, 2024. The multidisciplinary project that began at the Patio — a place that brings together artists, authors and friends outside of institutions, and around the typical architectural element of the suburbs — is part of a processual approach of iterations and transformations: the exhibition evolves through punctual interventions. Fringes, edge and wasteland mark the artists' poetic exploration of these marginal spaces, where places, sites and characters are interwoven. In conjunction with the exhibition, AXENÉO7 will present an oral essay by Dalie Giroux as part of the centre's carte blanche, broadcast on Radio-Hull on September 25 at 7pm.

On September 13, during the grand opening evening, another collaborative interstice is revealed with the work of Lina Choi, the fruit of a joint residency between AXENÉO7 and the DAÏMÔN production centre. As part of Radio-Hull, the artist will present an exclusive performance at 7pm in the black box. Choi presents Waterscape / Paysage aquatique at La Filature's Salon des membres alongside Robin-Dimitrije Gosselin-Monasevic, until October 19, as part of the festival.

In response to the success of the Salons, AXENÉO7 is pleased to invite you to a fourth iteration on October 12, in collaboration with the Maison des arts littéraires, on the theme of Transformations. Edith Brunette, Kama La Mackerel, Karina Pawlikowski and Maude Veilleux will share their thoughts and ideas over a convivial supper cooked by our two organizations.

As a new initiative in its third programming axis dedicated to communities, the centre is hosting for the second time the launch of the Actoral performing arts festival, organized by our Ottawa collaborators, the Trillium. The launch will take place at AXENÉO7 on November 5. The centre will present special programming as part of the festival and launch party.
