This project is part of a three-stage collaboration with AXENÉO7.

The exhibition Matryoshka Crush is the result of an invitation extended to the artist to take over the centre’s three rooms. It takes the form of an installation punctuated by spatial interventions and includes the continuous projection of the film, Matryoshka Crush, whose tale begins anew every hour on the hour.

AXENÉO7 is pleased to welcome artist Joséphine Javier (Nantes, France) for a research and creation residency taking place during the summer 2025 programming season. This residency is presented as part of an international exchange program developed through a partnership between the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ) and Le Lieu Unique (Nantes, France).
