Autorésidence

This Autoresidency project is the follow-up to the autumn 2022 Call for Proposals.

FROM TOLÉDÈRE TO GATINEAU

For this residency, I would like to keep exploring the artificial intelligence creation engines I used during my last virtual fiction project: Tolédère aime ses enfants. I will continue my research into Design Fiction and the virtual mockumentary techniques, to then create a site-specific multimedia experience based on the AXENÉO7 digital footprint.

I will glean texts from the AXENÉO7 artist-run centre website and then activate  text and image generators to develop the identity of a fictitious artist-run centre. I am particularly interested in how the instances and iterations, which the AI-generating machines created during the 2-year residency, will evolve, transform, even redefine the identity and culture of the fictional centre (and perhaps even mirror the reality of AXENÉO7). A lot can change in two years; I want to document and explore all these developments.
