AXENÉO7 is making THE CALL a shared gateway to its programming.

Continuing its exploration of current issues in artistic creation, AXENÉO7 offers a framework that embraces the diversity of approaches, modes of expression, and trajectories traversing today's artistic and curatorial practices. Some projects require time, space, a physical presence, a revival, or an initial exhibition context. Others develop remotely, through collaboration, mediation, transmission, circulation, or through actions that shift the expected frameworks of research, creation, and dissemination.

Through L’APPEL [THE CALL], the centre seeks to support initiatives that transform exhibitions, residencies, knowledge-sharing, and collaborative efforts into spaces for research, presence, and encounter. The centre invites artists, curators, collectives, groups, and organizations to propose initiatives, research projects, or initiatives that aim to engage with the centre, its spaces, its audiences, and the territories and communities it serves.

Proposals will be collected using a standard form. Individuals and organizations interested in applying may use the form to identify the program(s) that best align with their initiative. A single proposal may be submitted to more than one program if it appears to fit within multiple program frameworks.

Depending on the programs selected, an application may be reviewed by more than one committee. At the conclusion of the selection process, the selected individuals or organizations will be invited to develop their proposal within a single program, based on the framework deemed most appropriate for the project, its stage of development, and the available resources.

The selected projects will be implemented between approximately 2028 and 2030, depending on their nature and the centre's programming schedule.

As part of THE CALL, the centre’s team is offering four virtual information sessions as well as workshops during the application period to help interested individuals and organisations choose programs, understand the standard application form and prepare their proposals.

Wednesday May 20 (FRENCH)

Thursday May 21 (ENGLISH)

* No pre-registration is required for the information sessions; they are open to everyone.

The application workshops will take place on May 30, June 10 and June 11. Please book your time slot according to the two available stations:

The workshops are intended for those who wish to receive a quick assessment of their proposal to ensure it better meets the needs and requirements of the call, as well as support in completing their submission. Each individual session lasts 15 minutes.

Please note that the application workshops are not a space for evaluating or selecting proposals, but rather a support service for the submission process and for understanding the call for proposals.
