AXENÉO7 is seeking members with experience in the following areas:

  • Philanthropy and fundraising;
  • Law and administration;
  • Cultural work and management of cultural organizations;
  • Capital projects or cultural infrastructure;
  • Community work or community development.

*As an artist-run center, it is imperative that 75% of the board of directors are artists.

We encourage English-speaking members with an understanding of French to apply as well.

If you are interested in running for the Board of Directors of AXENÉO7, please send an email to axeneo7@axeneo7.qc.ca, along with a biography.

In accordance with the general bylaws, only members in good standing may run for a position on the Board of Directors. It is also important to note that voting rights are reserved exclusively for members in good standing.

Membership

If you have not received the 2026–2027 Membership Renewal Notice, it is important to renew your membership before the next AGM so that you can continue to be involved and enjoy the benefits of membership.

By joining as an annual member, you demonstrate your support for all of the center’s activities; you help promote platforms that highlight the expansion of contemporary art practices; you actively show your support for the center’s values and you support the existence of the only artist-run center dedicated to promoting contemporary art in the Outaouais region.

In addition to demonstrating your support for the center, you will have the right to vote at the annual general meeting.
