Autoresidencies 2024-2025

In autumn 2023, AXENÉO7 launched its call for proposals, as part of a new programming format. After selecting the projects - whether individual or collective - the center will offer the selected artists an initial residency lasting several months, called an autorésidence. This concept enables artists to develop their proposal and transform it into an exhibition project, all in collaboration with the center.

In this sense, AXENÉO7 places the residency in the context of interpersonal relations rather than an intrinsic link to the site, wishing to encourage the process of reflection and exploration of proposals by supporting them with an accompaniment formula that can be adapted to the nature of the artists' projects, intentions and situation.
