HB n° 8 — Écritures — Automne 2021
In the context of this seventh issue of HB magazine, it seemed necessary for the curators to follow in Jean Dubuffet's footsteps and look for drawings by self-taught artists, whose mode of creation corresponds to, or is inspired by, the definition of outsider art. Despite the difficulty of defining outsider art, it remains an important phenomenon that deserves our full attention. This art, created by people who are imprevious to the influence s of the art world, continues to question and challenge the intellectual concensus related to artistic institutions.
