AXENÉO7 is proud to present its summer programming for 2024.
To kick off the season in style, the centre welcomes French artist Nastassia Takvorian to a cross-residency with Lieu Unique in Nantes. This residency will result in two performances: one at the Pique festival in Ottawa on June 8, organized by our friends at Debaser, and the other during the center's summer opening on July 3. The performance at Pique will also be preceded by a pop-up gallery, open to the public from 2pm.
In the twilight of its fortieth anniversary, AXENÉO7 presents the group exhibition Atlas de nostalgie, curated by Jonathan Demers, François Chalifour and Richard Gagnier. This collaboration highlights work by artists who have passed through the center and contributed to its past and present essence. The exhibition inspires the eponymous theme of the summer opening - Nostalgia. On July 3, join us at the center dressed in summery attire evoking the timeless charm of a refined summer picnic.
