NOUS / OTRXS : A Late Spring
Guided Tour
- Collaboration
As part of its summer programming, AXENÉO7, in collaboration with Horti-Cité, invites you to a guided tour of Martín Rodríguez’s exhibition NOUS / OTRXS: A Late Spring, led by biologist Ève-Marie Hébert.
As part of the moving earth project, AXENÉO7 invites its communities to a moment of gathering and knowledge-sharing centred on the first phase of Martín Rodríguez’s NOUS / OTRXS project.
Sown in spring, the plants continue to grow and thrive throughout the centre’s spaces. As the first harvests approach, this tour offers an opportunity to rediscover the greenhouse garden conceived by the artist through the eyes of Ève-Marie Hébert, a biologist and specialist in urban agriculture.
She will guide us through the cultivated and native plants that make up the garden, highlighting their characteristics, distinctive features and some of their culinary, medicinal and ecological uses.
Ève-Marie Hébert
With a Master’s degree in biology specializing in agroforestry (ISFORT/UQO) and having grown up on a farm, Ève-Marie is passionate about resilient food systems and botany. Drawing on a dual approach — both scientific and grounded in the field — she now puts her expertise to work at Horti-Cité, a non-profit organisation specialising in agriculture and urban landscaping, to develop urban green spaces that are productive, sustainable and engaging for the community.
