Biographies

Originally from Hull, Gatineau, Charlotte Demers has been interested in the region’s cultural milieu for several years. She is a graduate of the DEC program in  visual arts, with a major in image technology, at Cégep de l’Outaouais. Charlotte likes to observe and listen to her circle of friends and relatives, and she draws her inspiration from the lived experiences of others.

Alej. M. is a creator of reflections who uses art to question the certainty of human problems in modern society. Originally from Latin America, he has been living in the region for close to ten years. He studied drama and visual arts at Cégep de l’Outaouais. Since his arrival in North American culture, Alej. M. applies a multidisciplinary arts practice to explore the notion of utopian hypocrisy that the citizens of our current era convey through their gestures.
